Last weekend in Shanghai, we celebrated the launch of Issue Seven with a group reading of the journal at WineWave. Thank you to everyone who came out to help us usher this volume into the world. It’s been a while since we’ve done an in-person event, due to the craziness of the last couple of years, Shanghai locking down on and off, and our interruptions in business production. How lucky we are to be here now; how beautiful to reunite and commune through a reading of these incredible works.
Please enjoy a few photos of the evening, and scroll to the bottom to watch a short video clip of participants reading from our interview between Brian Haman, interviews editor, with Pik-Shuen Fung, author of Ghost Forest. One participant that evening read as Brian; another, Pik-Shuen. It was a lovely moment of voices traveling through time from the original interview conversation, to the printed page, and finally out into the world as performance. :)
We hope to have more events in support of this issue and our communities, throughout the summer. Please keep an eye on our email newsletter or website for details.
